ECHO strives to put innovation, excellence and people at the center of the cybersecurity in Europe by enhancing technological sovereignty, providing a single market for cybersecurity solutions and delivering a digital education and training action plan.
ECHO is creating a European network of cybersecurity centers and competence hubs bringing together National Competence Centers, public authorities, industry and academia to support the development of a robust, resilient and sustainable cybersecurity ecosystem and accelerate advances in cybersecurity capabilities and excellence in Europe. Part of ECHO’s mission is to provide education and training of security specialists, a certification scheme and governance model, with innovative solutions to ensure a secure European Digital Single Market.

ECHO joined a panel discussion at the first CYBERWISER.eu Open Pilot Workshop in Pisa, presenting its goals to create a Cyberskills Framework and training curriculum, a Federated Cyber Range marketplace and an Early Warning System for organisations. The driver behind the resulting synergy with ECHO is to explore the potential exploitation of CYBERWISER.eu in ECHO's federated cyber range.
